Our Products

Natural silk has many great properties. Our high-quality silk is made in Italy, Como area, where silk production dates back to fifteenth century. It is natural Mulberry silk, coloured with non toxic dyes according to EU standards. The weight of silk that we use is 25 momme. We design and make all our products in Latvia, with attention to details and love.

Family Business

Run by sisters Liene and Dace. Named after our grandmother Katrina. Through our creations, we tell a story of beauty, strength and mindfulness of our inheritance. Our grandmother Katrina was a beautiful and courageous woman. She lived through the hard times of war, raised a strong family and left a beautiful legacy. She ran multiple businesses and found time for ballrooms and beautiful shoes. She's our teacher, inspiration and legacy.

Sustainability

By shopping at Katrina Silks you are contributing to the Slow Fashion Movement - a mindful approach to fashion that keeps in place environmentally friendly and humane processes in manufacturing. We produce locally in Latvia according to demand. We use 100% natural silk - a fully biodegradable fibre. Our plastic-free packaging is recyclable and made from FSC certified cardboard. Our latest initiative - growing flowers from seed and inviting you to do so as well!
